Manila Usually ask for the passport at the very beginning of the process.
You can check Manila thread for a clear idea.

Agreed. You still have a while to wait.

Hi. My case has been processed at London visa office. Three weeks ago my ecas status changed to decision made along with passport request and was asked to send my passport to manila office as i am currently living in South Korea. It was written in the letter that my visa is ready to be stamped conditional to a final admissibility Review by an immigration officer. I sent my passport from seoul on 8 June. It has been more than two weeks but I haven't received my passport back. Any idea how long they will take? I assume my case is different from other ppl of Philippines where they are asked to submit passport at earlier stage.

Moreover I sent an enquiry to manila office and they replied that my file is in queue for finalization. What does that mean. Decision had already been made in my case and i received the passport request.
