yes I have already applied for work permit extension eff April 28,2017 and my wp is expiring June 04,2017.

that would be an implied status. right?

and I have not applied for PR status, I have already sent my passport for COPR .

yes after jun 4th u would be in implies status.... but like u said the decision is already made for PR and u sent passport and ur status is approved so that work permit is no longer valid or required

they will cancel ur work permit application since it is no longer needed
