Just got my passport back too.

PPR: April 24th
PP sent: May 10th
PP received by Ottawa: May 11th
CIC account updated: May 18th
CIC email notification: May 19th
PP sent back/Tracker activated: May 19th
PP received: May 23rd.

I noticed in my passport the VISA stamp has an issued date same as PPR request email: April 24th. So I don't think that anybody who received a PPR should worry if it seems to take more than a week before they hear back from CIC.


I've been visiting this email for months now, as a guest, but decided to create an account and make a contribution...if this can help anybody.

I did not get my passport back yet. It is still stuck in Canada Post's Mississauga facility. I am not sure why? Anyone has faced similar issues..

Sent mail to CIC - nothing in the system yet - May 23rd

P.S. I called CICas well, Agent was not able to find the note related to receive of the passports..

My application got approved today, and tracker is activated too. Below is my timeline:

PPR : May 15th
PP sent : May 16th
PP delivered : May 18th
App approved : May 24th
Return tracker activated : May 24th

My deadline for landing is November 25th.

How long has it been there? Mine was at a facility for 24hours...

My passport has been at Ottawa since May 10th. Today the call center agent told me that the package was opened yesterday, the application approved, and the visa/copr printed. I haven't received any official email or anything.

Yes.. I called them yesterday and agent told me that she can not find any note related to passports after the PPR mail on 10th May.

thanks... it calm my nerve... i created service ticket with canada post as well and they reconfirmed me that package is delivered in the right place. I will call the CIC agent tomorrow.
