Interesting. I am in the us as well and my passport reached on the 15th. Wonder how they structure the queue.

I have no idea. I've looked through the data available on immitracker but there isn't any clear trend besides that in general it takes less time now than it did a few months ago (which I am thankful for). I also don't need them to print a visa for me, just the CoPR, so that might contribute to it-- different piles, etc.

What’s the difference between printing a visa vs copr? I thought everyone got the same entry doc

Nvm my last comment. I just logged in and it says application updated. “Final decision has been made. Please see final decision below”. Assuming this means my return tracker will be updated in 48 hrs?

I'm a US citizen, so I don't need a visa to enter Canada. That's also why I didn't need to send my actual passport to them. Other nationalities, like Indian citizens, for example, need an appropriate visa to enter Canada, so IRCC issues a special entry visa (in your passport) so that you can enter Canada to activate your PR. This is separate from your CoPR, which is your actual PR document that gets signed when you enter Canada.

Hopefully I wish myimmitracker were up-- I wanted to look at how long it usually is from approval to tracker activation.

Where did you guys send your passport after PPR? I sent it to address below as it stated in email, I am in Canada.

I see some threads stating they sent it to 2303 Stevenage address as well as 365 Laurier Ave West. I know one of those is for USA stamps but not sure where the other one came from and just want to make sure it doesn't mess up my passport.

Also, if anyone sent it to the address above from Canada, can you please share your timeline? I have a travel plans made already so need to see appx timeline after sent to this location. Thanks to everyone in advance.

I sent to the same address. No worries here. I'm inland CEC applicant. Not sure if this matters but letting you know.

As far as the timelines go. I submitted passport on Aug 17 received on Aug 23. I would suggest you to keep two weeks of buffer time before planning anything.
