Passport Submission at Canadian Embassy Abu Dhabi

I am going through the same thing. It has been a month now. No updates

I know the same thing for me a month already. You submitted your passport from riyadh to uae embassy?

Hello, I have also submitted my passport thru VFS Qatar on April 30, 2017. The tracking website is still showing that my passport is being processed in the Canadian embassy in Abu Dhabi. I was hoping to have it processed within 4 weeks as the PPR letter stated, but unfortunately that's not the case...

Same thing for me we submitted directly to the uae embassy but still same almost one month now waiting.

Nope! I submitted thru vfs, oman
Mine is little tricky thing! Intially i was asked to submit at new delhi visa office. I requested to change it to abu dhabi visa office since I reside in muscat, oman. I didn get reply for a while hence i submitted with LOE thru vfs, oman. In few days time I got a reply from CIC and they have changed my visa office and asked to submit at ADVO. I immediately emailed ADVO about my prior submission.
May be this could be the reason for delay. Too much suspense

Mine is little tricky thing! Intially i was asked to submit at new delhi visa office. I requested to change it to abu dhabi visa office since I reside in muscat, oman. I didn get reply for a while hence i submitted with LOE thru vfs, oman. In few days time I got a reply from CIC and they have changed my visa office and asked to submit at ADVO. I immediately emailed ADVO about my prior submission.

But good for you that you sent it through VFS coz you can track down your passport and VAC office will update you. But for us, we submitted direct to the embassy so there is no way that we can track it down. -___-

i just like to ask some question regarding to my application,we are in the last stage of my application which is the final decision.earlier this week my wife recieve an email to vegreville asking for the copy of my passport.can somebody help what is the reason why they need a copy of my passport..My application is almost done and im just waitin for PPR to release to complete my application,but unfortunately until now im hangin here waiting for this PPR...

hi we are inthe same boat, i submitted our passport last april after then may 9 i received email that my husband needs to repeat his medical, medical done and sent may 18, but up to now no news regarding our passport.the worst part my working visa in oman is already expire last june 2..super stress to the highest level i already send email to abudhabi immigrationbut it will take 15 days for them
to reply and sometimes they are not replying...is there anything i can do about it?vfs oman is no help at all!!please help!

hi guys! i read your conversation here, i submitted my passport in VFS muscat here in Oman May 11, 2017 they told me it will take 2-3 wks but until now i didn't receive my passport back even in the tracking system is still in abu dhabi
