Passport Sent, when do I receive it back?

Hello fellow readers,

I applied PR using outside Canada, and they asked for her passport and we sent it out already on Nov 1, and had confirmed receipt on Nov 6th. We still havent received it back. Do anyone know how long it takes for them to return the stuff?

I am under the understanding when they ask for the passport it is the last phase of the immigration procesS?

It depends on what VO you are using. ND asks for it very early in the process. Now ours was with the USA so it took about a month for them to send it back.

VO is Hong Kong. I am not familiar with the term "ND" ?

I guess if it takes a month for you then I guess I am not that slow either.

"ND" is New Delhi, India.

Also add in that the holidays are now so it might take a little longer this time of year. I'd check into the Hong Kong thread
