Hello,

Our visa was processed in the NDVO but when we submitted our passports, I just received email that they are sent to chandigarh VO, does anyone has any information on how long they take to stamp the visa? Any information will be very helpful.

Thank you.

Thanks @myra30sharma
I am thinking of applying for my Widowed grandmother. She is 79 years old. Are you able to tell me what documents I should use. And also, should I mention that she will be travelling with my father?
What would your advise be in this regard?
Thank you.

When I did for my grandmother, she was suppose to travel with my mother. I did mention that in my invitation letter to her.
I used the house she has in her name as her home tie and her bank statement to show her financial independence as she's a pensioner.

Okay great. Thanks for the info.

My grandma has land on her name and is a pensioner but its very low 1000 Rs/month. She lives with us and collects the rent for her land. Her land valuation was decent and she has decent bank balance.
Should I mention the pension?

You can mention pension, may be not the exact amount (I didn't do that either). The bank statement would anyways have everything. :-)
