Passport request?

Hi guys,

I’ve applied for permanent residence under the Spouse or Common-law Partner in Canada class on September 24th.

I’ve passed the medical exam on January 20th, 2020.

They asked me to update the Schedule A Background Declaration form (IMM 5669) bearing an original signature and to send my resume and they already received these additional information.

My question is?

Given what I’ve said above, how long do I have to wait for cic to send me the request of passport?

Oh really???? I thought that they are going to ask for my passport like 2-3 months after I pass the medicals.

If your medicals were done 7-8 months into your application, sure.

Inland applications still take around 12 months to process.

I thought the same thing but then noticed a lot of people get medicals early and still wait. Some people even have to pay for a second medical because the other one expires. Same for police certificates.
