passport request

I did my medicals on the 24 may 2010, now when should i expect passport request?, normally how do they request it, by email, or regular mail?

Usually by ordinary post and by e-mail too. You have to wait from 4 to 6 weeks.

Meanwhile it will be good to check through the postal tracking if they have received your medicals. Good luck to you.

The DMP posted it directly, so i can't check if they already receive it.

Check with the DMP for tracking # and how they sent it. They can also give you a confirmation if it has reached the CIC.

I am starting to believe it is a matter of bad luck that keeps following some applicants ! But like any other human being, sometimes I am in high spirits , other times in really low spirits :'( .

MAYBE . But I have heard some other applicants whose background checks (the main reason behind the long-time-processing) took up to 23 months. Look at Buffalo - LONG background checks tracker

There are so many fellows who are in the same boat. It is kind of supportive to know that your case is not the only case though.
