Passport request question

Hi all,

I was wondering do people receive passport requests by email if all their other communication was done through email or is it by regular mail? The reason I'm asking is that I'm moving soon so I want to know whether that may be affected just in case. This is for an in canada application.

Passports are requested through email.

If you have moved since and your new address is not the same as what you put in the initial application , state in your cover letter that you have moved as ask them to change your address in the system and ask them to send your passport to your new address.
