Hello all,

I have a question regarding access to the IRB's My Case portal. I'm a refugee claimant whose case was referred to the IRB in April 2024.

I have a legal counsel who has access to my IRB's online case portal. All communication gets sent to my counsel electronically who forwards their emails to me. I only get notified by the IRB through paper mail.

My immigration lawyer is great. But they work alone, and I do get worried that they might miss a notification related to my case due to illness or personal circumstances.

With the recent Canada Post service disruptions, I was wondering if there's a way for me to be granted access to my case portal while still having a legal counsel. Is this possible? If yes, what are the steps that should be taken?

Thanks in advance!
