Passport request letter asked from main applicant but not the spouse

Hi all,

I, as a representative, applied for TRV for my parents. Yesterday, their online application updated saying my dad need to send his passport for final decision. But this letter was not provided for my mom. Even her application is not updated with a rejection letter!

I just need to know if that's something normal? Is one passport request letter enough for both of them? Shall we wait more to receive another letter for my mom too?

But how is that possible? They received separate letters for biometrics, I filled two separate forms for them. How come the passport request letter would be only one for both which is in my father's name?

You can ask that to CIC.
 
Hi there,

Just FYI, I called CIC and they told me that each individual needs his/her own passport request letter.

I have the exact same problem. My mom is the main applicant and my father is the "accompanying" applicant. They both received separate biometric submission letters but so far only my mom has received the "passport request".

Did your dad eventually receive the passport request separately? Do they need the main applicant's passport "before" they act on the accompanying applicant?

I am in the same situation right now, I have applied for my Parents super visa yesterday they got the request for medical and today my father (main applicant) got the Passport request. My mother did not get any passport request. I want to know about your experiences?

Hi all,

I applied for my parents visit visa together my mom got passport submission request and there is still no update on my dad's application still it's showing in progress.

They goanna reject my father's visa? I am so scared, it's I applied on July 14th 2017.

Is anybody was in same situation? Please let me know.

Pari Can you please share your progress / update please....
 
Can someone here please share if you received the second request letter later on? Or did you submit both passports with the request letter for main applicant?

Hey how did it go with you?
I applied study permits for 2 of my children, in the same time using my account.

The 2nd one only received a passport request, Shall I send a case specific query? Or I have to wait?
