Passport Not Stamped upon return using AVR

Hi

I just realized my passport was not stamped upon arrival into the US(the immigration entry stamp). I Had used AVR to gain re-entry via the rainbow bridge at Niagara. I got a new i94.
Is that common?

Even my wifes passport was not stamped and she was not even issued a new i94.

I recently got new I-94 due to H1B extension while commuting on AVR. I did not get stamp on my passport. If your old I-94 expired, please do check details like I-94 #, Class of admission, and Admit Until Date. If these details appear correct, you should be good.
