Hi,

I sent my passports to the visa office in Senegal and its been 90 days now I have not received NEITHER the passports or e-mail of the pp status.
I have sent two status inquiry update and still no rely.

I did not manage to provide a RETURN envelop because this service is not provided in the country that I am living.

Any Suggestions?

hi, i'm kind of in the same boat as you, i sent mine since june 11 and i'm still waiting.
my visa office is Dakar as well.

so basically we are in same position. But mine is a bit longer than yours. have you sent them an e-mail for inquiry? i also heard DAKAR is the most busy VO in the world now. where are u living? we just have to be patient cause this Canada stuff can give someone heart attack.

Lets keep this point active for sharing idea from the Dakar office.

i'm in New York presently, the visa offices shouldn't hold passports that long, in my case i need it.
but Khans is right let's be patient.

Kane you are right that the visa office shouldn't hold passports for that long! In my case I failed to send my passports on time twice! But anyway I finally did! Not producing your passports on time is not a reason for refusal but will cause delays in the process!
But as we all know with all the back log of applications and the suspension of FSW programme it seems they have a lot in their hands!

I will send them a specific case enquiry soon! Any suggestions!

But finally as already said we just have to be patient as Jnathan said!

Let's keep this link up for updates!

hEELO,

One more long cue......applicant.
Sent the PPS to CHC London almost 75 days completed.
I have sent the email and they said that my wife Sur Name has been changed IN the PPS ( It was changed 3 years back and was informed to the Immigration well before). But now they have send it for Security Check.
I am waiting....I have no idea how much time they will take....? So worried. :(

I can understand how worried you can be... same as most people in this forum... My pp has been with the VO for mare than 100 days.
we just have to be patient... don't forget that each case is been treated differently and also there is a back log of application now... so expect some delays..

Good-luck

Dear Ko...Ku,

We both are together in the same boat.
But did u get a reply as i did....It is very important...My medicals will expire in november.
Well both of our cases are special cases so no-timeline is predicted....so let us wait and pray that tommors sun brings the shine of happiness for us.
Where do u reside?

Regards,
