Hello Everyone,

I send my passport to IRCC for stamping (TRV) and Canada post delivered it to my address but at that time there was none at home to received it so they send my passport back to the IRCC. Now I don't know how to get my passport back. If anyone knows about this then please help me. I need to go back home next month and without my passport I cannot do anything.

Thanks.

Not a consultant but I've seen this happen before. Contact IRCC through the web form and explain that Canada Post returned your passport because nobody was home to receive it. Include your UCI number, full name, and the tracking number if you have one.

You can also try calling the IRCC call centre and asking them to confirm they received the passport back and to arrange redelivery. If you need it urgently for travel next month, mention that in your web form so they can prioritize it.

For future reference, Canada Post usually leaves a delivery notice card when nobody is home. You can then pick it up at the post office within a few days before they return it to sender. But since it's already gone back, the web form is your best next step.
