Passport Expires in April...Will there be any problem in Landing ???

Hi Friends,

My passport in getting expired in April and my PR is valid till 2015 and have already landed once.

Will there be any issue with the passport valid only for 15 days at the time going back to Canada from home country?

I know I can renew my passport in Canada but need an advice on going back to Canada after spending 6 months outside of Canada and coming back with passport about to expire.

Hope you must have landed safely back in Canada.
I going through same situation with my PP expiry in July 2012 and same date Visa expiry. I plan to land on PR IM-1 visa on 1st week of July. Can share you experience? if you had any problem landing?

Sohum, you aren't going through the same issue. The OP is already a PR and would like to return to Canada with a soon to expire passport and valid PR status, which as PMM said there are no issues with that.

Same goes for you, you are landing and you should have no issues with traveling with soon to expire passport and PR visa.
