Passport Digit Mistake

when i sent my application to embassy and got a message from fedex that my case is under process
and after 2 days i realized that i put my passport number wrong in my application, only one digit mistake in it
do u think that could harm my case?
plz i really need an expert reply its very important to me
should i wait result , they have my original passport and my passport copies too with my case
