Today by the Grace of God, I have received my passports with the beautiful, long awaited VISA!

I would like to thank each one of you for your support and prayers during this difficult process.

Please find my complete timeline below :

September, 2007 : Application filed
3rd October, 2007 : AOR received
8th March, 2010 : Documents update letter/ File transferred to Ottawa (Documents sent on 9.6.11)
29th June, 2010 : More documents/ some clarifications requested
6th October, 2010 : Medical Request (Medicals done on 26.10.11)
4th March, 2011 : Passport Request (Passports sent on 9.3.11)
30th March, 2011 : Visa Issued (Passports received in hand on 20.4.11)

This whole process has taken me exactly 42 months.

I pray that all of you going through this process may soon receive your visas.

The time for visa stamping is 20-20 days. 20 days after u sent PPs, visas were stamped and then it took 20 days back for delivery.

I wish the best for all if you inshAllah, I am in Riyadh (KSA), and I sent my passport ~28 March 2011, today the e-cas showed the status 'Decesion made' and when I clicked on the link it gave me the followin message details:

"A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision. "

is it normal ? shouldn't they say for example the visa has been stamped on your passport ?

Please for people who got it, put some help here.

Congratulations, you will be receiving your passport with the PR visa in about 10 days approximate. I am in Riyadh too, and I sent my passport on April 9, 2011. Documents (certificates..) requested on: December 2008
Police Certificate + IELTS rquest: April 2009
More update docuemtns : March 2010
Medical request: June 2010
Medical test made and sent back: 25 Sep. 2010 (I delibrtly delayed it :)
Passport request: 28 Feb 2011
Passport sent: 28 Mar 2011
Passport recieving: still waiting, good news on the way inshAllah.
