I recently got my citizenship certificate through (to the UK). Now I am applying for my first passport but I don't think I have a guarantor as I don't know a Canadian citizen in this country that has known me for 2 years or an occupation-based guarantor that has known me for 2 years. My first question is does the occupation-based guarantor need to have known you for 2 years?
My second question is if I get a notary to sign the Declaration in Lieu of Guarantor form, do I then need another 2 references for that form, so 4 references in total?
