Hi

I am an international student and studying at UOM. Actually, in the last sem, I was unable to clear one subject and now it's available on June 5, 2019 at UO Manitoba. My course duration was Jan 11, 2018 to Feb 06, 2019. Now I am free from Feb 06, 2019 to June 04, 2019.

Question 1: Can I do part-time work in these days.
Question 2: Can I apply my parent's visitor visa application at this stage.

Please revert asap, it's very important for me.

Thanks

1) No - you cannot work. It's an unscheduled break.
2) Your parents can apply for a visitor visa at any time.

You can remain in Canada as a visitor.
Hi

Thanks for your reply

I am sorry to writing to you again.

Actually, I forget one thing to mention in my previous message that I have a valid study visa till August 2019, and my total free days become 118 days from Feb 07, 2019 to August 16, 2019. Still, I am not authorized to do part-time work in this time frame with having the valid study permit.

Thanks

Correct - you are not authorized to work during this break.

You would only be authorized to work if you had completed one full program (e.g. diploma or degree) successfully and were waiting to start a second program. If that was the case, you could work provided the break between programs was 150 days or less.

However in your case, you are no longer attending school full time and for this reason cannot work.

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

Can you suggest me what document i can submit for my parents visitor visa application. Means what kind of document i take from my university to support my parents visitors visa application. Right now i have university transcripts and I have received a letter from my university that u are failed to complete your program and mentioned next course scheduled date. I think this letter will be negative for visitors visa application. Can you suggest in this regard what docs I submit.

Thanks

TRV will depend on your parents. Their financial status, travel history, ties to home country, etc. You don't need to attach exhaustive records about yourself.
