Hi guys!!

Its been 38 days from PER and still no MR
Is it normal??
Haven't seen much updates from december apps in the spreadsheet.

Whats the average between PER and MR?

It's been 43 days since I got PER, so I guess we have to be patient and that's it. Hope to receive news soon.

I think you are one step closer but not safe yet! In other VOs when you get MR it means the background checks are passed but thats not the case for paris.

I think Paris doesnt have time to do background checks before meds if they send them after just 2 weeks of getting your file. The other VOs send MR after 2/3 months aprox and after that the PPR comes quick. But in Paris after meds you still have to wait 3/4 more months until PPR.

Thats just my view, probably most experienced forumites can give a better explanation.

I think you are still within the normal timeframe, check the spreadsheet to see other apps from your date. For what I have seen there are a lot of december apps that havent received mr yet. Wishing you get yours really soon !!

I need your advise. MR request sent on 10.04.15. I undergone medical checkup on 11.04.05. Medical reports delivered to destination on 15.04.15. It is 30days past but still neither second line update nor 3rd line update in ECAS.

My medical report has no health issues. According to the statistics Paris VO has average of 17-18days from Medical request date to 3rd line update(medical received). In my case it exceeds average in two times.

2weeks ago I asked them to confirm the receipt of my medical file at least via email and their reply was "your file is still in study". What I do not understand is what these guys are studying if there are no health issues?

What can be the reason for such delay? Do we have anyone with similar case?

It is a little bit strange but I hope you will see your update soon. I have not any personal experience but from reading the forums I have some knowledge on Medicals procedure which leads me some questions on your case:

- To whom did you ask your Medicals? As far as I know not the Visa Officers but some specialised people in some centralized places (not Paris) are checking Medical results and updating on ECAS. If you asked to Paris VO, their reply about study on your file may not be specifically for your Medicals, but most probably it is a common copy-paste answer for all people asking their situation.

- Did you get information from your doctor later on about your lab results? In my case I did not know what was found in my blood and urine samples or on X-rays.

Hi Baykus,

You are right. Medical from our region (Turkey, Iran, Azerbaijan) are being checked by Canada House in London not VO directly. Therefore, I could not understand his answer (the person who is dealing with my file in Paris VO) when he wrote my file was still in study.

Regarding health results I am pretty sure that they are clean as I am running through medical checkups regularly.
