I guess this is the question in all of our minds.

What I recall from the RFPRF and additional documents request mail is that, If I did not send them in 60 days, my application would be evaluated with the available ones which would lead to rejection. I therefore conclude that we should expect at least 60 days from RFPRF date, before our files are evaluated.

good point! but in my mail it was 30 days to send that docs. when you receive the mail?

actually I had only 30 days to provide documents (RPRF + Medical receipts )

you mean evaluation is parallel to documents collection ?
if so why it takes 15+ days AFTER MR to see the third line "We Started Processing "

its more than 30 days after MR and still I am waiting for just another line !

who saw the third line in 15 days after MR??

I went through a french forum for french people who want to immigrate to Canada. I have past down the comment. they said that all it depend on the country you are from. If your country dealt with a VO where the time to get visa is 20 month so you would expect this period or less than it. but for countries assigned to paris it will be maximum 8 months starting from Sydney.

I guess we must be lucky to get a fast process

1- have you ever heard of such these investigations ?
Ive heard that after MR, VO's work is done and our applications send to Ottawa for more review and international security checks and more

2- it seems Paris sends Medical requests before any background & security checks while in most of other VOs these checks complete before Medical requests, thats why we see the "MEDICAL RECEIVED LINE" before "We Started Processing you application on XXXX" !

anyone know about the stages particularly in Paris?

the link says Ottawa generate "Medical Results Have Been Received" line !

i doubt MR LINE (WHICH UNLIKE OTHERS IS THE SECOND LINE ) means our cases passed security checks !

..any estimation on how long is duration time between MR & started processing?

Can't give you a +1 cuz I've already given you one when you told me about this thread and I have to wait for the next one! as far as I remember from Applyabroad forum, there haven't been any contacts from Paris VO to employers, though I really don't care as long as they give me the visa!!!
your also right about the "we've started processing...." line. Zhobeys told me that first he got "we have received medical results" as the second line, then he got "we've started...". of course he said this line jumped to the 2nd line and medical received line was shown as the third line.

agree! 15 days after MR getting another line can't be true....many ppl are waiting after medical received line for any update including myself! I got the medical received line in early Feb, no updates so far

why u think its impossible to have 3rd line in ECAS after 15days?
check out Iranian spreadsheet and find following users :
mhgha ,mova ,narjam ,cedar ,mehrniya, siavash ,...all staring process ...though they are July applicants but it does not change the fact that they got 3rd line less than 30 days after MR

I'm also not proud to say that I feel the same :,but it's just because of the forum policies to speed up the topic-searching
anyways as you may know your NOC is one of those Slow processing NOCs

I have applied from Canada and was expecting Ottawa as my VO, but today I called CIC and they told me that my application was sent to PARIS.

I have received my PER on 13-3-2015,,

When I should expect a AOR !!
