We landed on August 22, 2015.
My ECAS reads "you landed on... and became pr .."
I received a letter yesterday requesting new photos for pr card
My wife and son got their cards, with the same photo studio pics.
Anyway, this is an excellent country, but still wonder why they insist on such out of age procedures...

I changed jobs and I want to inform them. I see that the other visa offices are giving PPRs

Today, I received my GCMS notes. I am very frustrated as according to them my application did not undergo security and criminal checks yet. Seems like I will not get any PPR request for at least upcoming 2-3months. As per notes my visa officer did nothing to my application since Jun 2015 and only in Sep my application has been assigned to different immigration officer.

thats unbelievable!!!! How can they be so irresponsible??? Do you know who is your new VO? I guess our app should be in the same conditions which provider did you use to request the gcms notes?

My immigration officer used to be AS. The new one I do not know as they are using abbreviations in GCMS notes.

You can use visafile.info to obtain GCMS notes. It is the cheapest provider for 25USD. You will get it in 30days.

It is amazing but I received PPR email today requesting to send my passports to VAC Office for visa. I am stunned and have no words to express my astonishment!

It happened after the review of my GCMS notes I placed long CSE where I asked them to clarify when I am going to receive my PPR if my medicals would be expired in less than 6months considering that neither security nor criminal checks were initiated.

Thanks Psicolala!! I can not tell you everything is perfect but I really loved here. Actually only the problem is that I could not find a job yet. The rest is perfect. There are community services assisting in job search. The system is really good, what I need a little bit luck to move forward. Anyway I think I will live here. Before I have lots of questions in my my mind about migration, leaving everything and moving etc., now there is only one: find a job
