Hi guys!

After a few weeks without any movement I saw 3 PPRS from CC but nothing from other VOs.

Im still waiting for PPR so far 36 days after SL, and 101 from medicals.

Hoping we all get good news really soon!!!

52days from SLU, 120days from Medical, total of 320days of processing and still nothing!!!

Guys i got passport request three months and a half after medicals, in between this time i was asked to resubmit pcc. But still i think you are ok.. It took me 105 days between medicals and ppr.. I know easier said than done, but stay positive.. Praying for u guys.. It will eventually happen hopefully sooner than later..

The situation is miserable. There are only 5 PPRs in Iranian spreadsheet for a last four weeks. No single PPR this week again.

Psicolala, I think u and me are the only ones who left in this forum. Any suggestions regarding what is going on with this Visa office?

I cant understand whats happening DL hasnt given any PPR since the start of September. The only reason I think could explain this is that the Paris office is dealing with the refugees from Syria. I really hope they start working on FSW again!!! I have a friend that is also waiting like us without any news from Paris since June.

Please let me know if you hear anything!

I really hope they start working on FSW again!!! I have a friend that is also waiting like us without any news from Paris since June.

This is fundamentally wrong! According to CIC procedures applicant should undergo medicals only in Decision made stage which is right prior to the receipt of PPR. Therefore, other visa offices request medicals only when application is finalized. Paris is the only Visa office (as far as I know) who requests medical to be done as a part of AOR which I relate to relatively fast processing by this Visa office previously.

Now, it is almost 7months passed since I undergone medicals (Apr). Delay of every month decrease expected validity of our visas (if any) which is max 12months from medical date. Retaking medicals is costy procedure which is around USD400 in our country.

I believe you and your friend are in similar situation. Considering the above we need to be max proactive. I placed GCMS notes at least to know which stages my application has undergone and also signal visa office that I am very concerned about the status of my application.

Please advise if you and your friend took any proactive steps such as placing CSE or GCMS notes, or simply contacting the visa officer?

Syrian refugee application polls are endless and if the Visa Office does not process remaining FSW2014 applicants because of refugee application it may take ages until they revert to us

Are u updating your work info because they have requested it or you changed your job?

I do not know about Ottawa but I see that other Visa Offices continue giving PPRs in normal way. Even London VO which considered to be slow is accelerated the process.
