I sent them another inquiry today. Hoping to hear back the good news from them.

I sent them couple of chat logs and requested an update about my file.

just to let you know that it's the end of the wait for me..My wife just got the "Visa ready to be issued" email .. The status in the Ecas is still in process though.

The same one who first handled my application and informed me that an interview is required and that I should receive a invitation within couple of months

As previously mentioned , the above mentioned application is currently under processing at our office. As you have been made aware an interview will be scheduled and an invitation will be sent to your attention as soon as the interview schedule will be finalized.

However, when I click on it, it only says:

We received your application for permanent residence on April 7, 2015.
We started processing your application on June 19, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

Any idea if I'll receive a letter or an email and how it will still take?
At least I got some good news, and congratulations @HassanQuebec.

From what I've read, since you're visa-exempt, maybe you'll just receive the COPR in the mail and not actually get any email from them...

We have the pleasure to inform you that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been processed and already finalized.
Your “Confirmation Of Permanent Residence (CoPR)” has been printed and forwarded to your attention to the mailing address you provided in your application, on Sept 22nd, 2015.

No update on my side. My file's been at Paris for almost two months; no AOR2 and no additional document request.
