Sa3sa3 : Maybe (maybe because nobody can be sure of nothing) don't be too pushy...your sponsorship was approuved on May 6th.
If you look on CIC site, Paris VO has a 8 month average time to treat an application...May 6th, we are June 16 and you sent an inquiry last week?!? just 1 month after they received your application from Mississauga...Maybe they didn't like it.
Just cool down now and try the low profil, Canadian don't like to be push and will ceised the occasion to teach you to wait your turn and follow rules.
I hope it is just that, but in case, be ready for interview.
I understand you impatience, trust me, it is very hard right now for us to wait and wait when we know we are close to the end...
I wish you good luck :-X

I hope so!

I just asked them what is the meaning of "Application received" since it is not one of the status list that they have 8)

Sa3sa3 I completely agree with Vera16.

You are probably driving Paris crazy since they haven't had your application long. Patience will key now more then ever.

I also agree with MisbahNabeel. Since they have now mentioned you will need an interview you should order your notes ASAP.

:(

I submitted an information request. I don't think that they sent me that reply because of my inquiry. But, I still hope it is just a way of pushing me back and no interview will be requested.

Thanks for your advice too!

hi sa3sa3

i think when they sent you the first email requesting document it mention they are going to update your file, if you think about it for a while , when they update file to in process does mean your file is complet , and also doesnt need more proof of relationship( they are satisified about what you sent them before ),otherwise they were able to ask you more proof of relationship in the first email .
if you see almost all applicants who had their file in process got decision made 3 to 4 weeks later .
so when you sent them another inquiry you highlithed them , because they already told you what they are going to do in first email .
and also the cic dont request interview only if they ask about more proof of relationship and then later they are not satisified about what you sent then they request interview , and as you see they didnt asked you that in first email , because they said they are going to update your file.
sometimes you need to read between lines when they sent something .
anyway i still think you dont need interview but you need to be quite and ignore them this way ,you will get everything soon its kind of game they play with applicants to test them .

Thanks All,

My mind is not functioning right now. I am very depressed and can't think logically any more.

I will be quite for sometime and will then come back.

Thanks again for your wording and advises.

Bye

Poor Sa3sa3... :(
In some culture if you don't push and push the administration, nothing happens. In France it's in between, you have to remind them of you but not to push too much or they will put your file under the pile or worth check every details in it.
In Canada, you have to respect the rules and always ask very politly or they will very politly teach you your lesson ;) If you follow the rules I think Canadians are fair and helpful that includ CIC agents; I lived 18 year in Canada after growing up in France; I think I can compare. So lets have trust in their work and be patient...Gosh I talk like a mother LOL
