Hi...my parents got a TRV based on an invitation letter my mom's cousin sent him from Canada. Now by the time he visits I will also be in Canada as a permanent resident through the Federal Skilled Program. So my confusion is that at the time of entry should they mention me being there and their intention to stay with me as well or not since their original application does not mention that at all. Or will this be treated separately since the situation has changed after the visa was issued. Will really appreciate some help here. Thanks :)

Did you have your CoPR when your parents applied for their TRV?

Need urgent help!!! does it matter if my father is retired, would it affect his trv ??
No, it does not matter. What matters is reasoning to show your father would return upon completion of his visit.

People who have job uses this as reason to show in their file that they will return to their home country, if someone is retired ..they would just have to provide more solid reasons to indicate why they would have to return.

besides having a job also shows your financial stability so in your case ,, your father can handle this by showing good financial situation to cover their trip to canada

Yes - If your brother is not applying and staying back home, your father can show your brother as their dependent and they would be returning to take care of him.

money is good, I would recommend to do show some property if available .. you can provide property evaluation papers to show net worth of your parents.

their ITR documents

Yes I forgot to mention it, my father owns the house they live in . Is it really necessary to write the cover letter ?

It is not requirement as per checklist but a good cover letter increases your chances of positive response.
