Parents Sponsorship Jan 2018 - Income question

Hi,

I am planning to apply to sponsor my parents in Jan 2018. I had a question regarding the income requirements.

I know you need to submit NOA 2017 2016 2015, however in 2015 I was working in Germany and moved back to Canada Aug 2015 through the same employer. My salary in Canada when I returned was 87500 and then I got a new job in October paying 105000 but my NOA shows 34500 as my income as I only started making money end of August in Canada. But my combined income with Germany was 119000.

Can I still apply and submit my employment letters from 2015 in addition to NOA to show Immigration Canada about my real income? I can also submit german T4 equivalent with a translation. 2014 all my income was in germany and the previous years my income was in Canada.

Your help is appreciated.

No. You can't count income while not living in Canada, so you don't qualify. Don't apply.

Also note they may request 2014/2015/2016 income for 2018 applications depending on timing of 2018 application intake and if 2017 NOAs will even be available, we won't know for sure until later this year. If this is the case you wouldn't be able to enter the lottery until 2020.
