Hello All,

I sponsored my parents and their timeline is:
Application Filed: Jun 2011
Application Received Letter: Jun 2013
Additional Documents Request: July 2015
Additional Doc Submitted: Aug 2015
Additional Doc Received Letter: Oct 2015
My parents arrived in Canada on visitor visa Nov 2015 and going back to India in May 2016
Eligibility of the sponsor approved in March 2016 and file forwarded from CPC-Mississauga to CPC-Ottawa for further processing. The letter said: "This visa office was selected based on your relative's home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act."

Now, I have few questions:

1. My parents files transferred to CPC-Ottawa instead of New Delhi. Is that because currently they are in Canada?

2. Should my parents go back to India when their visitor visa expires in May 2016. Or, should I try to extend their visitor visa? If they stay in Canada, will their process be quicker? What are my options?

1. maybe, but it can always be sent to ND if needed for whatever reasons.
2. Try to extend their stay if possible. If not, they leave. If they extend, you can do their medicals here if requested. And get visa issued and landed if it finalizes while they're here. Otherwise, they get it via NewDelhi office. If they return, CIC would know, or you can always inform them they have left Canada.

i m dependent type a ..19 year at time of application ..sept 2010
now 24 ... i started my btech graduation in 2013 -2016 session.
but unforuntae bcoz of my fatger passed away ...nov 2015 i missed my 7 semater that tym ...now my name cut from coolege ...and again i readmisiion in colg 7 sem but my now college saying i will go through from one year gap now my degree will extend to 2017 may insted of over in may 2016.....

now
if now have to fill backround history how will i fill that form ?????

I think u hv no need to carry on study .. because u hv already got visa .. they already checked your eligibility as a dependent .. so now no need to carry on study again .. they will just make your mother as principal applicant and then you can get visa again ..

if possible, gather all possible documentation for that time when father was ill/hospitalized/medical records, death certificates, letter from doctors etc indicating you spent lot of time in care, etc.
In the forms you'd need to be truthful and indicate whatever happened, and keep letters from college too about that, or any letters or evidence u gave to college for re-admission, etc.

I don;t know i'm just suggesting, not sure if cic will ask u or anything, good luck man

no bro they are now changing whole sponsership on mother ..and my meficals are getting expired in may .....
now they just start changing from missiauaga ...i asked mp enquiry they said new application needs to submit all the steps again ..thats problem

new delhi only ask only bonafide letter from presebt sdty nothing else ... so how will i fill my bavkround elgibilty form ...earlier i write 2013 to date in regular degree ....
now again i got readmission .. how can i write unimployment in that box ..there is no way to write

bro i can i gather all documents of illness bcoz we just arriving canada vusa issued already ...but one weej before my father expired ...its batural death we dont have contronl on it ...but i have letters from prinvipal my own letter which we give it unversity for readmisiion ...but can u tell how to thruthfull on form a...
bcoz there is no way i can right i was skipped one year or 6 months in degree ....
bcoz my degree extebd to may 2017 instrad of over in 2016 may ..!! now dont know ehat go do as i m
fully dependebt on mother father ....

It's on the CIC website:

You can always speak to an agent by calling the cic call center and verifying the address, and give a phone number, etc.

You can't apply for travel document from within Canada. It can only be done from outside Canada.

So, how can a permanent resident person in Canada travel back to their country of origin? do they have to wait till they get Canadian citizen and get passport?

I have a good news to share that today i recived a letter for passport request ..
the date on letter was March 05, 2016
my status was decision made till feb 27 . so I was little bit worry about This ..
finally I hear a good news ..

Congrats and it is via email or regular mail ? now when u submit your passport to any vfs center. with in 5 days u will get back your passport with shiny visa sticker. which city u belong to india, which city sponsor lived in canada ?
