We received your application for permanent residence on April 10, 2008.

We started processing your application on March 1, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

The ecas now shows mailing address along with the home address. Does it indicate an answer or something positive soon? The status says *in process*.

My medical was completed by December. Then Ottawa asked for my father's military record. I checked ecas on 3rd Jan and it was showing in process along with the third line saying medicals received.
Medicals: Aug.. Furtherance and then re furtherance.. Then completed by December.

Finally I received the medical requests for my parents in my email on 3rd March 2015, asking to get the medicals done within 30 days.
I applied for them in July 2009 at Mississauga Office.
Docs request was Feb 2011
File transfer to London in June 2013
And finally medical request on 3rd March 2015

They are planning to do medical in the next day or two.
As per your experience, when should we receive the passport request ?

PS: They visit me in Canada every year as they have a 5 year Multiple Visa on the passport (Not the Super visa)

Congrats. It might take 4-6 month to get the visa, don't worry you are very close. I hope this year your parents will be with you.

Hello All
Yesterday I have received email from SGVO asking to do medical for my mom and also PCC from Bangladesh and from FBI. She visited US multiple times in last 5 years but never stayed more than 2 months, is it a requirement? or it is a general letter ? any one with the similar situation? Thanks

Most likely you got the visa..

Unfortunately they still haven't asked for the passports.. So I guess a bit more wait till we know.

Status - "We sent you a letter on February 26, 2015 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us".

Its 05th March now and neither i nor my representatives have received any email or post.

Any ideas what 'Decision Made' refers to? and where would have they sent the letter to?

I guess this is approval only. But could only confirm after receiving the letter.

Yes its only approval not medical ..i got it with email ... That ur file is tranfered to new delhi for further process ....no need to chevk ecas status ..if u got email about transfer ..!wait for 5 months atlesst for medicals
