Applied- Aug 2009
Got letter for add. docs from missisuaga- March 2012
sent all add. docs inlc PCC- April 2012
File approved and transferred to NDVO-July 2012
Got add. docs,medicals & PP request-Nov 2012
Got another letter regarding Army service -Dec 2013
Medical Expired- Feb 2014
Got another letter regarding Police service -March 2014
Re medical request-Aug 2014
Decision Made and PP received with visa-Nov 2014.
for my dad, mom & sister.

I have question, when filling IMM008, on dependent question, should I put the type of dependent is it now or at the time of sponsorship, for example when I originally applied my sister was type A, now 4 yrs later when they asked me to fill the updated forms, she is type B. Should I write type A which was at the time of sponsorship or type B, which is now. Please advise.

I received the same generic letter. In our case its only my parents no other dependents. Please help me with additional documents. Do I need to include birth certificate of my parents and also 5th, 8th, 10th certificate for my mother as she is only dependent and it is not clear in the letter.

Please Help...

I am not sure, but it will not make sense to do so. May be marriage certificate is all that's needed. I think dependents in there means children.

in mine case it takes 4-5 months & 3 members mom, dad & 1 dependent in our case
then we got email from delhi that your file is here for next step.

i just noticed that i made a mistake in filing the Schedule A (Background declaration) for my dad.In the Government positions that he held, instead of year 2000 i wrongly typed 2002 and sent it to Mississauga office in Aug 2014. It will look like there is a 2 year gap between his govt. positions but actually, there is no gap. Should i voluntarily send the correct date with an explanation to the office or wait till they ask for clarification. Kindly advise.

Hi Macintosh, thanks for the reply. The form IMM 5669 asked me to fill all government positions that my dad had in his career. So, i listed all positions from 1970 to 2006. Should i sent the explanation letter by email to Mississauga office? I am worried if this is going to cause further delays in processing the application.

Fill up a new form and submit it again. In the cover letter explain that you made a mistake and hence a new form is being submitted.
