What document is required to order gcms? I think it can be ordered online, but last time I tried, it asks to provide some document. It's almost 7 months since cic received my complete application, but there is no update on my ecas yet

Does anyone's e-case change status from "received" to "in process" yet after additional documents submitted to Ottawa? (Particularly for people who received the request letter dated July 31, 2014)

I submitted mine on Sept 30, 2014 and they received on Oct 2, 2014, but still in "application received" status. Nothing in e-case change yet.

It was about two months after I submitted documents that I received AOR. Another two months for sponsorship approval. About 11 months from submitting documents to "in process." Same visa office: Ottawa. See my timeline.

How did u know ur doc transfer to Ottawa? did u receive any letter from Mississauga?

Can I ask you a question about medical process in Kiev that your mother in law had recently in July.
Just quick info, my parents finally receive documents to do medical. They are from Ukraine and the medical will be done in Kiev.
Any advice, recommendations from your mother in-law. How much money do they need to have, how long does it takes and so on...
Please let me know as much as you can.

The medical cost about 3,000 grivna, this was in July. Could be a bit different now with the currency fluctuations. The whole process took about 3 hours. When we got the letter to go for medical exam, they were also talking about more photos. Turns out the photos were unnecessary as the photos were taken at the clinic in Kiev.

Need to book well in advance!! She tried for the soonest appointment, and it was a month away. I suggest your parents call the clinic ASAP to make an appointment, figure out the payment arrangements, photo requirements, and details on any medical records they would have to bring with them. Seems like the people at the clinic were pretty good at spelling out everything that was needed. One suggestion: don't volunteer too much information.

Once the medicals were done, everything moved quickly. Meds done on July 25, in process Sept 10, decision made Sept 25. She dropped her passport off at the embassy on Friday, October 3. On the following Tuesday, the embassy called to say it was ready and made arrangements to send the passport by courier. Thursday, October 9, the passport was delivered to her apartment in the Dnepropetrovsk area, and she will be here in a few weeks!

The courier service was great, cost only 60 grivna (one way). You could also have the passport couriered to the embassy, but we never did this.

Was your application done through Ottawa also?

order Gmcs note will find out what is going on

I did order GMSC notes. According to that everything is absolute normal. The last entry of the agent in the GMCS was july 2014, He only left O.K remark in the notes. that's all.
Asked MP, ( I think so them only consluted the GMSC notes also). MP told it's 66 Month wait time.

Just got an email from New Delhi asking my sister to submit the following documents in ORIGiNAL:-
Birth certificate
Original educational certificates - 5th , 8th , 10th and 12th

Since some of the documents like birth certificate , 5th and 8 th class education certificates are in regional language ( punjabi). Shall we do a English translation of them along with the original documents ??

Though they didn't mention anything about English translation in the email.

Here is the snippet from email:-

- Sisters original Birth Certificate (Punjab version)
- Sisters original Grade V, Grade VIII, Matriculation and Grade XII certificates issued by Government Board

We applied in Dec 2009, and LVO was Pakistan. However, after 1st process they sent file to London Visa office on Jan 2, 2014. We have not heard anything yet from there. I think they are even slower than Pakistan.

Hello All,
I applied for my parents who are in lahore Pakistan in July 2009.

They asked for aditional docs in Feb 2013 while the file was in Islamabad.
I sent the documents in March 2013.
In June 2014 , they transferred the file to London office to speed up the process.

When should I expect medicals?

I have come across too many people who are saying that the CIC is not issuing visas to dependents who were above 22 years at the time of the application, even they rae having continuous study.
