hello a31 can u pls share u case with us so that we can get idea why they had called u for interview
i mean any background check , problem or medical problem or something else

Hi helping Canadian ,medcl n pp sent on 28 nov 2012 ,then they asked additional medical test for my dad as he had By pass surgery in 2009 ,on 26 dec status updated as medical results received ,on 24 jan 2013 we got mail regarding background check for my dad as he is police services ,we send the same on 28 jan, after that no email from ND ,now my sister had MP inquiry and he said yesterday that background checks are done and interview is schedule for family date yet to be decided ,me n my brother are two dependents in application we are full time student,we are really worried for what purpose they are gonna have our interview pls give ur suggestion n tell me what should we prepare for interview? Ur suggestion will be appreciated

or something else.... and what did they ask from ur dad ,,

they send us background check form in which we hd fill d details of my dad's services till now .ya he is still in service

Usually close to the visa being issued. I think they look at the criminal history of the applicant in all the countries they have traveled to.

ya he is planning for retirement as we get visa ,only my mom visited canada for 4 months on visitor visa last year ,do u guys think they can question about dependents study as i had done BSc, MSc,MA sociology now MA public administraion and my bro did BA,MA sociology,MA public administraion n now doing MA Economics

that is strange, what will they be asking for at interview? I'm sure they have all the proof of the relationship ties. Maybe they have some questions about the dependents eligibility.
