Hi Guys,
Does anybody from India know that Parents Birth certificates they request with documents can be no found record or we have to make with registered entry. My parents only have no found birth certificate. Any help will be appreciated.

My mother did not have a birth certificate. We provided an affidavit in lieu of that. It appears that the affidavit has been accepted as the "Eligibilty" criteria is passed. In addition to the affidavit, I also provided other documents like my old Indian Passport (and current OCI) that mentions the names of my parents.

Yes, you will have to submit Option C printouts for years 2008 and 2009.

Hello All,

Finally joined this forum though I was reading the posts on and off....I have sponsored my parents , LVO is ISB....In April they asked for Medicals and Passport, medicals were done in the first week of May and passport was also submitted in the first week of May......there is no response after that.....Status is application received with additional line that medicals have been received.....

Any one from ISB can share some light, any hope to our long cases. I applied initially in May 2009....

Welcome to the forum Irfan. My timeline is similar to yours. I sponsored my inlaws in June 2009 (LVO is ISB)as co-sponsor for my wife.
2 dependants and her mom and dad. So far no medical. ISB asked some updates one of the dep regarding education which we sent 2 weeks ago, hoping to see medical end of this year. Do you have any brother/sister or just parents?

IN PROCESS is not normal actually, it usually happens if they ask for more paperwork after the initial docs/meds from New Delhi
