hello fellows,
today I checked the ecas and it says the IN PROCESS (started processing on Sept 03, 2013). But my family didn't do their medical yet or neither did submitted PPT to ND as they didn't receive any request letter earlier to do so. I was in the opinion that when medical are received/passed or PPT submitted to them, the online status shows the in process. But in our case it's not the usual course.
I was just wondering what that means. Any help tips will be appreciated.

No its fine, I had mine go to IN PROCESS before they send me meds too

Usually 1-2 months after sending passport, meds etc so u can see some action in the notes

Add 3-3.5K for whatever LICO you see now + add 30% on top required from past 3 years

i am just giving and idea to u , bcs all other members have passed thier medical
and submitted thier passport in october 2012 and november 2012
and they are waiting , so hope they have changed thier strategyy that to call for medical
at last bcs if they issue medical request to you then they will feel burden on them to clear u within one year bcs validity of medical is one year from date ,,,
and one more thing is there anyone whose medical has expired,
i have passed medical in oct .2012 and sumbitted my passport oct 2012
its now 11 months till date ,, hope they will issue visa before medical expiress,,,,,,,
any one whose medical has expiredd pls tell usss

If you are sure you have passed the medicals, there is good chance that you would get the visa before they expire. Same thing happened with my parents and they picked visa from ND consulate in person 2 days before medical/visa expiry. Get the bags ready and be ready to reach Canada in a rush if needed.

Ha ha I know. I tried to change the font colour too after posting it but could not able to do that.

How long after IN PROCESS you got the MEDS request so that I have an idea.

hiiiiiiii Amy1 and 39,,did u receive anything about dna collection at delhi???

my sister mailed the laboratory, they told the delay is due to strike and they also told that they are informed by delhi embassy that they are collecting samples at end of august, but august has passed....i m really worried bcz its remains 2 months to expire medicals

no we still haven't heard anything back from them and our medical expire in nov too and I was thinking to send our parents to new delhi to do inquiry on status of application

Good luck user...I really hope you get visa before sep 13. One thing I wana ask u is, does ordering GCMS so many times effect our case in any way? I mean delaying the process

my brother who is Canadian citizen and he wants to sponsor my parent to Quebec.
In the sponsor's guide page 11 stated: once you receive the letter from Citizenship and Immigration Canada(CIC) stating that your sponsorship application is admissible, you can submit your undertaking application to the MICC.

is this mean he need to send an sponsor application to CIC first to get approval letter? which form should he to fill for this application? many thanks

Can you please tell me when you applied for GCMS notes.
As i also applied for gcms notes , But from one person i came to know that now it takes 50 days instead of 30 days to get GCMS notes...So just want to confirm

GCMS took exactly 30 days July 31st to Aug 30th

file trrd to CPP-O : 11 Apr 2012
Medical done: 29 June 2012
finger prints done : 17 Sep 2012
file tfrd to New Delhi: 7 May 2013
I sent right to info request and got reply on 28 Aug where they mentioned "Medical; Passed - expired.
do u think we have to do our medicals again?
still they have not started security check.

I have personally send letters to India and it takes max 4 working days if u courier it and will take 2-3 days from Punjab to Delhi if u send it by courier. It's my personal experience and I used DTDC courier company....
