The letter Cpc sent us mentioned " It is important to note that you must NOT complete the visa office specific instructions" what does it mean? Can we fill the field " immigration office requested for processing" if yes what you guys filling that field with ... Ottawa or local vo? I am sponsoring my parents with no dependents.

Visa Specific is pertaining to respective VO's like New Delhi, Islamabad - they have their own requirements like Travel Form - trust me, if your file goes to New Delhi, you will have to fill this all over again.
You can't choose Ottawa, if you have to pick New Delhi and it still might goto CPP-O - luck of the draw - ( majority went there ) but some of us were sent to ND and all files with dependants

You can only pick a office if you are allowed to live in that place for min. 1 year thus my hypothetical suggestion of getting folks on supervisa which gives 2 year stay and you can pick Ottawa as Local VO ( this is so that your file is dealt here than India where it can be a mess, for some, its good experience but many of us is horrific, its turned vicious )

++Always exceptions, 1 user here had his file done in CPP-O, sent passport to ND for stamping and is still waiting++

Thank you, but still I didn't understand which one to mention Ottawa or ND? My parents are here in Canada just on single entry visa and leaving soon.

Just wait for 1 or 2 weeks. As you can see suin applied at the end of the mmonth.. I'm guessing they are sending till end of may coz I haven't receive anything yet as well.

Pari4u I cannot explain how i felt when i saw your post regarding your brother. The sad part is he was the only dependant, maybe that stupid officer doesn't have heart. But i reallly hope and prAy that you win the appeal. Good luck.

I have a question about the LICO.

We know that each year they do raise the LICO, in 2010 it was about $4000 less than this 2013 year. So, how so they decide whether the sponsor meets the requirements - using the LICO published in the year the application was filed or the current year when they send additional documents request?
