If his sugar levels are not where they should be then waiting makes more sense.

you don't have much to worry about if his kidney function and vision etc are fine. thin filament test is another one that can be done to check neurological damage in the periphery (usually foot).

overall I do not see much of an issue here but its always better to be safe.

They do Monofilament foot exam to check neurological damage. so yeah I think It's a good idea to check that.
I dont see much issue with their medicals as well but as you suggested waiting may be is better.

Any word on how the strike action is affecting the processing of our applications?

EDIT: It appears that March to June are the busiest months for a lot of Visa Offices?

Thanks for your response. We will write to then if the passports could be sent once the case is ready for stamping. let us see what happens.

Thanks again!

its so frustrating that after 6 years we are still waiting for the visa. I really don't know what to do now. I have made several MP enquiries but every time we get their general response that they are doing further checks.

Does MP Enquiry delayed the process?
I have ordered GCMS notes but haven't heard anything so far!!!

mp inquiries do not delay the process.

hang in there, you are almost done. should be hearing news from lvo-nd shortly.

Hi;
When I applied my brother was 20 and a full time university student.
He graduated last year.
My file was transferred to LVO last year as well.
Before It was approved, they asked for his credentials and the proof that he was a dependent and a full time student when I applied.
But my question is,would they ask me to prove that he's still a student before issuing his visa?

Thanks ranja this is what I am hoping for the last 3 months.

LVO shouldn't be asking you to prove that your brother is dependent because he was under 22 at the time you applied.
So age is locked in.
All he has to do is not get married to keep his dependent status.
