No i have a "UCI" as am d principle apllicant but am just confused abt what to write in "uci" column of my wife and my son in IM008 FORM ? I read it sumwhere dt it is same for all applicant which comes undr 1 file ... So wt shud i do ??
And d othr thng is that you are saying dt i shud send them original certificates ? Rt ? R u sure with dis ?? Nd wt abt my son updated educational document? Original Dmc's ??

Yes same uci no. for you, wife and kid, but in which form you have to write their uci's i don't think there is any except IMM0008. Anyways if read letter...you will see that thet are asking for original birth certificates of everyone along with english translTion if they are in diff. language. But attested photocopies for everything else ok now for your question regarding proof of relation. All of the following will work your kid's birth certificate, 8,10,12 and college certificates,Voter card, rashan card, adhaar card. Now proof between you and sponsor is sponsor's old indian passport, their birth, 8,10,12 school leaving certificate, college certificate, marriage cert. if married.

Hi All, I hope someone can suggest me what to do at this point. Applied for my parents sponsorship in september 2008 and medicals were done in december 2012. Application status shows medical received on december 18. They have passports since then and no updates on ECAS after that. I am very worried now as its been almost 6 months they have my parents passports. Please suggest me what should I do now or how I can contact them. I will really appreciate your help. Thank you.

My case is also 2008 and our ecas last update on 19 dec medical recieved until now no updates only wait and pray

My humble experienced advice is just wait for it, no news is good news ( i.e, no more paperwork )

Best is to order ATIP ( GCMS Notes ) which will tell you abt file status amongst other details
