Understandably so. Can't believe they have made the new process so demanding for sponsors but at the same time i understand their perspective as well, the healthcare system is bursting at its seams. Hopefully they can clear the backlog quickly now.

Received medical documents in Canada which were resent on April 25 by CHC Islamabad. Principal applicant have not received any letter....strange....Happy and relieved...sent a letter to CHC for receipt and completion of medical on May 15....Is there any one in Nov 11 batch got visa from LVO Islamabad?

That is a good news I believe, as they say they just sent it on 6th. So you should receive it in next few days. I think it should come by end of the week. At least you can breath easy that it doesnt seem to be misplaced.

Received passports in India today, infact the postman called to confirmed since my friend ( my Indian Mailing address ) is leaving for Vacation, now he will mail it back on Monday
Past few days were real tensed

So it takes 4 days via registered post

Folks my application to sponsor parents was approved on Jan 10th, 2013 by CPC-Mississauga and transferred to New Delhi. My parents received an email on May 10th acknowledging the receipt of the application from the New Delhi office.

Any ideas when the medicals should arrive now? Seems like it has taken them about 5 months just to acknowledge the application in New Delhi.

Timeline:

Applied Nov 17th, 2009
Approved Jan 10th, 2013
AOR from ND May 10th, 2013

Check the timeline ( see sig ) - and you can get some idea but normally its about 7 months + after file xfer, Kandel ( user here ) is still waiting since her file xfer in Sept, 2012 - has dependants but that's not the factor for delay
There is another user who still haven't received but I recommend to order GCMS notes as there is lot can go wrong, like mine for eg went to the wrong email - you can read past posts as it was hell of a time.
Some folks try to get info from MP and are given either a proper or generic response

Some people have done it successfully - although it it illegal to send ( confirmed by Indian Embassy ). I flew to India just to drop passports as we had 8 all together ( 5 for father, 3 for mother )
Its best to send via a person else you risk it being confesticated by customs but again people have been successful and I heard of 1 person who had issues so its a tough call

We have just ordered GCMS to see what's going on, hopefully BG checks etc are initiated already, etc.

I wish they would have started working on 2010-2011 applications this year... but there's no sign of that yet... the process has slowed down again. There's some rumor that they will not look into these years till 2014...

Most of times it would mean your medicals are clear.

PP request is all case by case, some people are asked very close to medical request, like I did. Based on average you should be able to get visa in 4-5 months max.
