Happy for everybody who got visa,,,,.it gives hope atleast ,,,, applied march 2007,,,,medical,pcc & passport requested end of nov 2012,,,,, ,,it's been ,6 yrs,,,still waiting ,,,congrats again everybody ..

Harjasjeet u gona recieve visa anytime now. They have to clear all all 2007 asap.
Don't loose heart. I know this is the most hardest and frustrating time but pls stay positive. Coming week should b lucky for u. M sure u gona recieve passport within April.
Order gcms notes anyway and put MP enquiry too.

yes, MPs can, my file transferred to ND and ecas was showing APPLICATION REC'D, i contacted MP, and they emailed ND for status, MP got reply and contacted me saying they are reviewing the file and i should expect medical shortly, and in Oct 2012 i got med. request. Recently i contacted MP again for status as i haven't heard anything after submitting PP and med. MP sent email to ND and told me normally ND replies in 2 weeks

Thanx alot raju735 & next7 flight ,for ur encouraging words,,,,,I m also thankful to my brother gagandhillon for his continuous support,,,I think it took so long bcoz of change of principal applicant on file after my father's death,,,,I did mp inquiries 2-3 times ,,since file transfer to Delhi in march-April 2010,,,it was in initial review,for so long ,, n then received medical & passport request,,in nov2012,,n submitted in dec 2012..,,I m sponsor (sister),,n sponsored mom n bro,,,,,initial application includes dad ,mom n bro,,

Interesting, certain MP's don't mind obliging the people with status request so frequently. My MP told me 1 request per six months

It's getting quite frustrating. Our medicals are close to expiry, no word from the embassy. And we applied in early 2008, so there is no rhyme or reason in all of this.
We had to re-submit the police certificate, which had expired. Our case is really simple, only one person and no special circumstances. Oh, well....
