It's exactly 4months today since passports has been sent to NDO.
Really frustrating. I think m getting sick. I am opening ecas in dreams.
Last night I been to brampton and came bck same day. Wt d heck... This cic is makin me crazy.
Grrrrr so helpless on d other hand our postman said he is delivering lot of passports everyday...he said not to worry...lol
Waiting is d only option... :'(

Next7flight , stop thinking of it.. The more you think, the more you will go crazy.. Engross urslef in other stuff.. I know it's very difficult, but the wait is about to end for you.. Any day it should be .. Best of luck!

Just quick update on my mothers application, she received her Passport and Visa from New Delhi yesterday meaning March 20 2013 in the afternoon Indian time... Visa issue date was March 14 2013.... She was given Feb 23 2014 last day to enter to Canada....

Wishing good luck to everyone on this forum who are waiting to hear from CIC..... I will be checking time to time just to share my experience if needed in any case..........

Yes enjoy this time.Have all the good stuff to eat, hangout with friends, shop till you drop and spend rest of the time with family.. These days are not going to come back.. .. so enjoy till u are in india.. .. so chill buddy and have a galaa time :-D..

The current backlog is close to 170,000 applicants and would take more than 15 years to be processed based on the annual admission quota.

I believe 2012 was 25k, 25K for 2103 ( or 35K I am not sure ), so as you can see 25-35k is still not enough for reach that figure but we will have to wait and watch.

BTW, this # is not a pair of parents, these are individual apps so Dad, Mom, dependent etc

they contradict themselves, they said they would clear the backlog within 2 years - 2011 - 2013, and that was the reason why they temporarily suspended parental sponsorship for two years till November 2013.

it does not look like it's gonna happen as today is the end of March 2013 and they have not started working even on 2010 applications yet.

Who knows what will happen after the pause, no word yet but there will always be backlog so not sure what they have planned - I suspect they might run on the success of supervisa as it suits them

Quick Update:
I received a letter about 2 weeks back (Dated: March 5 2013) stating that my application to sponsor my parents has been received by CIC on Sept. 26 2011. I think they'll send out another letter in about a year asking for updated docs - Option C printout, etc. Good Luck Everyone!

I am ordering GCMS notes tonight as well. I can only understand your position. I was hoping too that my parents could come by april but looks unlikely now. Hope things work out for you too, our time line is pretty similar. I replied to your PM through an an email too, but got no replies.
