12 weeks?

RCMP Electronic fingerprinting done in Canada takes 3-4 days ( as per fingerprinting agency )

Hi everyone! I'm a little late posting this but we landed in Vancouver on Tuesday evening. We were delayed in immigration with a long line up but then they put extra officers on and the line moved quickly but about 90 minutes in all. We arrived in the arrivals hall to the sound of our 2 grand daughters shouting "welcome home Nana and Grandad." Fantastic ,and good to be back as residents now. Best wishes to all still waiting.

I am so glad your landing went well and you would be so overjoyed at your family's happiness at having you with them officially at long last.
Did they ask after all to see your Goods Accompanying and Goods to follow lists or did they say they would stamp them when you finally come back for good to Canada?

That is correct. It is infact 72hrs IF no match found in RCMP database.
CIC will get the results updated from RCMP in your file by 4th day. (it happened in my case)
when will CIC agent reviews it & start next step varies (from days to months).
If possible have your parent travel to Canada & do your D fingerprints.... otherwise takes 3-4 months + CIC agent processing time

my e-case is still not working .. any news why its not workin?
Mine stopped working since yesterday
Its been 5 years 4 months and 15 days since application submission
and 3 months and 15 days since passport/medical submission
parents and dependent with mother's travel history to Canada

Is it possible for eCAS to stop working if they are working on file? I hope so...

For those using gmail, you can add a addon called YESWARE, you can tell if CIC opened your email or not. It doesn't prompt user to click anything, its a code in the email itself
This was you can expect or see if they are actually opening your email
