Since ur medical would get expired in may.. So you should receive ppr in a month's time.. Till march to be specific.. Because the applicant has to land in canada before the medical expire.. So they should issue the visa to u guys as soon as possible.. Best of luck

well...i do not want u guys to lose hope but, there doesnt seem to b any particular time or pattern involved in the processing of cases some of the 2009 applicants have received their visas while some others frm 2007 (including me) are still waiting!! also for med, my parents had their med in dec 2011 n submitted passports along with med. but nthng so far....although the med have 'technically' expired a month ago, they havnt asked for new ones or returned their pps (with/ or without visa). so i guess...its just 'wait and watch' game...just wishing gud luck for everyone

Police Clearances Certificate send in Jun-12
Request for CSQ (Quebec Selection Certificate): 20-Oct-12 (received this request from CPP-O)
CSQ Send: 10-Nov-12

on online (E-CAS STATUS) showing only in "Permanent Residence" : We received "Parent's Name" your application for permanent residence on December 19, 2008.

Please help me to guess:
1) When I will able to see "In Process" on the E-CAS STATUS.
2) When I will able to see "Medical Result received" on the E-CAS STATUS.
3) When they will ask for PPR for my parents.
4) What is their LVO, is it LA, California or CPP-O? (application was sent to Buffalo New York).

1-I guess when visa officer starts reviewing your file.close to the issuance of visa.
2-You should have seen it by now.usually after 3-6 weeks after the meds are done.
3-weeks from issuance of visa.
4-not sure
You should get GCMS notes to see whts taking so long for meds update.

Yeah that i agree.. There is no particular pattern.. But usually they issue visa's to majority of the people before their medicals expire.. And some cases which require prolonged checks , gets shelved for a longer time.. It's all luck and also depends on the officer which is dealing with ur file.. All we can do is pray and do our estimations 8).. Yeah alot of patience is required for it no doubt and waiting is the essential part! Lol ..

Hi All

I hope if anyone here can help me!

I sponsor my parents in 2008. The file is now in visa office in Islamabad.

Finally I got an e-mail from the visa office asking us to get the medical examination done (nothing from regular post, just an e-mail)

It is not much detail in the e-mail but there is a document attached. This is a single page IMM1017 “MEDICAL REPORT, Client Biodata and Summary” form, notheing else, just one page.

But this is ONLY for the principal applicant (my father), no form was attached for my Mother.

I sent an e-mail to the visa office a week ago but no reply yet.

I am confused. Why they send me IMM1017 for the Principal applicant ONLY.
What about the accompanying souse of the principal applicant (my mother)?

apply new fbi send then through fast courier i received my mother new FBI in 22 days .call the fbi after 3 weeks of sending request they will give updated status so if u want to obtain new one then follow these steps .and many many congrats for updation on your file

Were you in same position? were you already gave FBI and they asked again. Did FBI make it faster once you called them, also did you give State too?

Yeah, they find one in Moga I think....let's see....her teacher said that they can provide in written that she got selected in the course based on her higher study points....and that also gona help her in the future by increasing her opportunities when there is a job opening....ok, one more thing the letter they send includes one line under 'Dependent Child' ....it says, 'continuously enrolled in and attending a post sec institute that is acredited by relevant govt authority and actively pursuing a course of academic, professional or vocational training on full time basis'....so read after and....this is exactly what she has done....professional training....God...don't know what this officer is looking for

We just received the letter in India, my friend has scanned and sent to me - they haven't asked for all paperwork again but here it is

I have already sent them Indian Police Cert from Aug 2012 and FBI for my mother from March 2012 ( they have acknowledged this in the GCMS notes ), I can get Indian PCC fast but FBI will take 2 months? what should UI do, write a letter suggesting that or ignore PCC as they have it
