My family got the visa from CHC ISB under parents sponsorship , only 18 days are given to fly.
my time line is as follow just in case if it could be hlepful for any one...THANKS... My fater passed away while

the app was in process that delayed my app also. cuz i had to change the principal applicant, i thought
i would throw that in also.

Hello There!! If somebody can help me please please help me..actually my brother applied for our sponsorship from Canada ,we are 3 siblings and parents..He recently received a letter from immigration saying that he has been approved for the case and his file has been moved to new delhi.How long it will take now...Please if somebody knows help me!!!

Can you share your application timeline. You can view SPONSORSHIP TIMELINE to get an idea about processing of applications at different stages. However, after transfer it can take anywhere from few months to a year for final decision on application. You, your parents, and siblings will be required to go for Medical Examinations, provide Police Clearance Certificates, any other missing documents, and pay RPRF (if not paid earlier) etc. Take Care.

...I tried my Client ID as well but it did not yield any results.

When you use your Client ID, make sure to use your Last Name, Your Date of Birth, and Your Country of Birth. Hope you did the same. Take Care.

You explained the situation well.That's what I was telling to member 39.He can easily prove that sister is full time student and continuously goes to uni.The only concern which I see is from visa officer is that there is no consistency in the subjects.I really appreciate that you,user828,ranja and raj really gave good points to address that isue.
39 I will highly recommend you to polish our suggestions and add in your letter.We will try to add more to it.The reasons for history and computer are so good I don't think so someone can deny that.Try to get a letter or affidavit from English teacher/tutor/or college.

hi lucky i am in touch with member 39 and we are trying to write best possible response to the letter and we are so thankfull to all member giving us such a good situation thx alot from member 39 side .hope you all hear good news soon. no update on my side

Hi everyone,

There is an issue that I would like to discuss it here, it may be helpful for others who are waiting for passport request letter.

I have received passport request email on Dec 24, 2012. My parents have not submitted their passports yet because they need them for another passport related issues.

In the letter for passport request they mentioned that visas will expire on march 14th,2013 which is too short a time from the date they are going to issue the visa.

I believe they set this expiry date based on my parents first medical examination not the second one. My father had to go through some more tests which delayed the whole process. So those who went through extra medical tests might face the same situation and their visas expire shortly after being issued.

Did anyone else was in similar situation? Did anyone asked for extension in visa expiry date? Do my parents need to do medical and PC again to extend their visa expiry date?
