6 months have now passed since documents sent to CPC-M, and still waiting for sponsorship approval.
Has CPC-M has gone quiet for the year?
The only thing which perplexes us is how people applied after us have been approved while ours is not in process yet. Really weird/

Hello all,

I just checked my parents application status and it has changed from "application received" to "in process". it used to say we rec'd your application on June 25 and medicals have been received.

Now it says we rec'd your application on June 25, medicals have been received, and We started processing your application on Nov 16, 2012. What could this mean. I intially was to check through the posts if someone had the same experience but I have a two years old todler and a week old baby with me so wouldn't be able to spend that much time.

Mind you they were enquiring about my brother's school record that why he failed so many times.

Any feedback regarding this will be very much appreciated. I need my family here bad as like I said I have two kids at home and no help.

I do not think that any proof of funds is required (as technically they are being sponsored, so not expected in general to be self sufficient). But of course this is best to be confrimed by those whose parents landed already (we are not there yet)

Hi Spring: This means they have started processing the permanent residence application, the medicals are passed, and you may expect the "In Process" changed to "Decision Made" very soon. You are approaching the last step in the application process. Hopefully, very soon you will get your family to join you and help with your kids.

First of all congrats to the guys who got the medical and PPR, Now if u guys noticed they are looking for original birth and educational certificates. So do we really have to send the originals or just send the certified copies.

I have the same question. Have they asked for just the Original Birth Certificate and rest can be certified copies or everything should be original?
