Thanks Kandel, I'm am holding off celebrating until I see the decision is good news....Congrats to everyone else who has since got medical and Pc requests, there is light at the end of the tunnel

I am so happy that all these visas are being processed, a year ago we were looking at least 6 years before ever getting this far....although we can complain because we are desperate to have our parents with us, I think we have to agree that Canada immigration have been on top of things this past year working on the back log of applications. Good Luck everyone, hopefully our loved ones will be with us soon!!

I am a bit late in sharing my bit. I received passport request for my parents around Nov 9. We send the passports to Canadian High Commission in ND on the 16th. Letter said it takes 30 days to return the passports if sent to Canadian High Commission, but only 7 days if sent to VFS.

Anyways should receive the passports by middle of December. Things are definitely moving in ND. Will update when I get the passports back

hello everyone,

news to update i got the medical and pcc request by email today as well, they requested to fill the same doc again too, i also notice that most of the ppl here as well got the same email today lookes like ND has sent the email to most of the 2008 applicant.

as well congratulations to every one who recived the request and got the visa as well. sorry ihave been in active for time as got busy with new born baby lookes like he bringed the lots of luck for us and things are moving ;D

raj - VFS is a 1 week turn around, why don't you fly down and do this for them

ticket cost will be for 1 and the convenience

My parents already have a return ticket to India. I need to prepone the date by calling airline. I have sent CPP-O fax to allow my parents to submit passport to Seattle. If they refuse, then my parents will fly back to India for passport submission.

rajmalhotra, I emailed Ottawa about transferring to Seattle but then changed my mind as I thought it would postpone the whole process. So I emailed them again saying that my mom would go to the home country and also asked them to confirm that it is still ok to go to her home country (I was afraid that she will go but they will send the file to Seattle). They replied (even though they didn't reply fast to my email about Seattle) same day saying that she can go to the home country and that they will re-issue instructions shortly. I was puzzled by this statement about re-issuing instructions, we just ignored it. Good luck anyway!

Many visas delivered last 2 weeks (LVOs and CPO) for medicals done in August, Sept and Oct. What about CPO files with medicals done in March, April, May or June 2012? Where is the roule first come first served?
We are now at 7 months from medicals and no news.......
What may delayed our files??????

Trying to have some hope by cocurring with you. Looks like CPC-M did not resquest for doc for anymore applicant. I haven't see any new file are going to CPP-Ottawa. I guess easy files are being processed this year and rest of them will be next year. Hope I an not wrong !!!!!!. Hope next year will be our turn. May be not, may be we have to wait till 2015 if no action observed !!!! Who knows !!!!!!!!!
