Kandel - hang on there, you are sure to get your email you`ve been waiting for. One thing I noticed on our spreadsheet is that, it represents about .1% of the total 165K backlog. The number of people on our spreadsheet whose row turned `green`are also roughly .1% of the total visas issued. What it means is, for every person on our spreadsheet who has received a visa, there are 900 others who have also received it. And for every person waiting to hear some news from CIC there are 900 others who are also waiting for their turn. I had to wait for 8 months after my file was transferred to ND, to receive their medical request. I have no reason to doubt why you too should not receive it after a similar wait. Like I said before, to prevent stress from over-powering you, keep your expectations low AFA CIC is concerned. I had drilled in my mind that I won`t hear from CIC until Mar`13 (based on AOR 9 months for first review it was Jan, but the GCMS notes indicated Due Date for medicals as March)- irrespective of how many others had got their request before me. So some myths that can be busted are:
- CIC is not working hard enough (they are meeting the goals that were defined - 25K visas this year and 25K for the next)
- Parents age can determine processing times
- Having dependents can affect processing times (though in my case there aren`t any dependents)

congrats finally a got it my frnd case december 2008 too got medical just know he call me so its means whole 2008 applicant ae getting medical)

Hira i did not notice that everyone from jan-may 2008 got medical request except me and user828.
I was thinking there are few other people except us but its just me and user828
I really have very bad luck
first they did not ask me for additional documents
second they took 5 months to approve me as a sponsor (again others were getting ahead of me)
third i never got AOR from ND so far whereas some got it within a week/month
now aggain i did not get medical request??? :'( this is not fair really not fair
is there any guarantee that they will include me in second batch? NO
I m feeling dumb not to notice this before even after noticing what can i do? NOTHING greatt
i m just done with this BS :'(

Hey kandel...I can imagine hw frustrating it can be....but u knw just hav faith in Him, He tests the people who have great trust in Him.....I am pretty sure u will get good news soon..nd i.e medical nd ppr.....take care dear...

For those who have submitted PCC to LVO - I noticed on my additional docs request (checklist). It says new PCC is required "if the prior certificates on file are greater than 12 months old." So new PCCs may not necessarily be required if you have already submitted them.

Passport LOST by LCO Delhi

We received the Visa today. However, we had submitted 2 passports for my mom, one current & one expired, and Delhi LVO only returned the current passport. We need the expired passport as it has valid Visas on it.

Has anyone on this forum had the same issue.

True sibnadian. All is well that ends well.. I still remember how crazily I followed CIC timelines from 2008-2011 to see movement of processing by CPC-M. I had prepared a week by week chart of CPC-M sponsorship processing to track movement over a period of time.

Hi kandel dont loose hope my case is the biggest example i got frustrated waiting for sponsership approval i lost my dad in this waiting time . So you are just near to some good news kandel order the gcms notes when my file transfer on 29 august i order gcms notes next day i got it and see my all file amd e-mail address so you should order notes to see any change . You should be positive i have one frnd who is waiting from last 33 month from new delhi for medical you can see her case in trackitt harjass username

I am writing this on my commute to work as I had to share this wonderful news with you all. A few minutes ago, I recevd an ema from cic nd requesting for my mom's ppt and medicals. Hope this is one of the many good news we would hear from the rest who are waiting just as eagerly as I was.
