Hi everyone, I was in shock today when I received the brown envelope from London LVO requesting my police checks and for me to arrange my medical! I thought I wouldn't hear anything till next year sometime.

My application date was 29/4/2008 and my file was transferred to London on 16/5/2008. On the London website it was quoting 38 months for the stage 2 of the parents/grandparents visa completion so I am just so pleased things are speeding up. I will now have to get in gear again and get things arranged as I have 60 days to get the medicals and police checks sent to them.

I hope you all get good news soon too as the waiting really gets you down. I am now going to contact my daughter in Canada and tell her the good news.

add doc req. Nov 2011file transferred to ND April 4,2012
AOR Received June 2012
After that nothing

I am worried that our rep. is going to receive our medical request so i am worried if he dont tell us on time can you tell me what should i do

or can you give me some info how to GCM notes so i will get some idea what they are doing with my file

I will appereciate any kind of your help, and i hope your parents come soon too

Hi everyone, I am new here and this forum is really informative.
I submitted my application to sponsor my parents and it was received at CPC-M on May 20th 2011. On November 9th 2012 I received a letter confirming that my application for family class was received. Does anyone have any idea how long it takes before I am contacted again and what documents will be requested at that time? Your help is greatly appreciated.

when did your medicals received appear in your ecas? mine was almost 3 weeks and i got so
frustrated cause others got Dm in just 2 weeks after medicals received.

Yesterday my mother scan COPR and I realizes she also has also code 11 so I sent an e-mail to Nat-Med-Surveillance @ cic.gc.ca ()
The good news is they just answer my question so here is the answer regarding code 11:
Dear Sir,
Thank you for providing the additional information.
I have verified the information in your mother's file and I can confirm that she does not have a medical condition requiring medical surveillance, therefore no Immigration Medical Surveillance Undertaking form (IMM535B) will be issued to her.
For you information, code 11 is the medical code for Pulmonary Tuberculosis – Inactive.

Thanks Andrei, this is very helpful. Interestingly, that code 11 is for inactive TB with no follow-up required. I heard with digital technology, every third person is showing signs of this on x-ray so am gald to hear they have this medical category. Andrei and Kerria: thanks so much for sharing. My mom is yet to submit her passport but this info will help a lot once she has her paperwork back.

hi, today i checked my e-cas it shows -
We received your application for permanent residence on December 11, 2007.

We started processing your application on October 31, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

any idea what is next step? I have seen after MEDICAL REC'D it shows DECISION MADE,
passport is already submitted, so when can we expect to get Passport with Visa, your reply will be greatly appreciated

Hi everyone,

My parents app status have been changed to decision made recently but it doesnt show that medical results have been received. when I click on decision made the message only shows 'we started processing your app on July 8, 2010' next line is 'decision has been made on ur app. the office will contact you concerning this'. they have done their medical check/paid RPRF/submitted passport in April. Does anyone know why is this happening? Btw, their case is in BeiJing.
