Thanks for reply, my mother's medical result has been sent to Ottawa from Tehran yesterday.
most likely the processing is in Ottawa.do you have any idea how long will take for passport request? how and who will inform us I mean the call me in Toronto or call my mom and Ankara Embessy or Ottawa?

Sorry but my file is behind you!!!! My parents file has transfered to Ankara on May 2012. No news after that! Not even medical request yet!!!! Can you please let me know when your mom's file was transfered to Ankara? Or do you have any idea of how long it takes to get the medical request from Ankara?

after the passport request ecas changed to decision made ...
it says a decision has been made on application of name and office will contact u soon with name concerning the decision

Online status showed "decision made" today and says letter has been sent on Sept. 18th about the decision. Contacted CIC and was told that i'm approved as sponsor, they didn't said where file is transfer but looking at trend it will be possibly transferred to LVO as i have dependends on file.

Also, looking for some guidance.

I'm representative of my parents and so far received all communication from CIC to my current address in Canada but after my file will be transferred to LVO I prefer to get this communication in home country. Can somebody suggest what is the best option to do that? How can I request CIC to communicate to my address in back home.

Hi Shjooya,

After request some documents from my mother , end of June 2012 all required documents sent to me from Tehran and I sent them to Mississauga ( as they asked).
25 September, I had an email that medical needed , the form was from Ottawa.
The medical was done and sent to France from Doctor’s office in @ Tehran.
So far no news .

i am thinking that the parents file with no dependent will get medical from new delhi in coming days either by e-mail or mail.i am quite shore about it bcoz i done some researher work on file i saw that there are only 141 person application recieved between 1 jan 2012 -8 april 2012 in ND-LVO.SO ALL THOSE ARE GETTING LETTER FOR MEDICALS.I JUST SAW ON IMMIGRATION.CA THE MEMBER GANKU GOT MEDICAL TODAY BY E-MAIL SAME LIKE ANIK ON THIS FORUM SO KEEP CHECK YOUR E-MAIL.

I think if i remember u have dependent child on your file so u will have to wait some time they are giving priority to parents file

Hi all .....

I need to know when I'll get the immigration visa . is it soon or no ??
I'm living in Saudi Arabia ( Riyadh )
my wife living in Canada and she applied my file on 29 FEB 2012
the medical exam and the police clearance submitted in the same file
the Canadian embassy in UAE received my file 5 March 2012
25 July 2012 the Canadian embassy in Abu Dhabi request me to fill some forms (RESIDENCY QUESTIONNAIRE + IMM5549 Supplementary Information Form ) and remake the police clearance again plus the passports copies and the visa fees ( 490$ )
I sent all the requested documents on 11 Sep 2012 to Canadian embassy in UAE.
the Canadian Embassy received it on 13 Sep 2012
my medical exam will expire on 17 Jan 2012
please Now I need to know the next step and how much time it will take to start the process and if they are going to issue my visa before the medical exam expire

I am 99 percent sure that you will get some news bcoz ND-lvo give prefernce to only parents file.

tuhade muh vich gheo shakar dhillon sa'ab. lets hope i hear something in the near future. this is getting frustrating with all the screw ups so far. i originally sent the paper work in january first week which they returned saying i was missing passport photos which were originally there. I send it back asking them to look properly and they said that they will honor my original send date but they never did, transferred my file to ND instead of ottawa with the other early applicants which pushed back my AOR date and everything. anyways lets see what happens, like everyone else all we can do is wait and hope for the best.

Final stage done. Online status now shows "Decision Made" for the second part. Excited and happy. On just a side note, my Mother -in - Law also got Visitor Visa in 3 Days. So double celebration.

I'm still not able to log in to ECAS
They asked me to send PCC to Ottawa
But medical in New Delhi
Is that normal? And how long its gonna take from now
