Hi, please do advise how the lico is calculated - what they look at in the option c printout to assess if sponsor is eligible for sponsorship? thank you.

When they say 'size of family Unit' who they exactly mean - a husband (co-signer), a wife (sponsor) and kids? are other family members as parents of a husband (Canadians) included into family members? do they count a sponsored parent too?

When New Delhi ask for Passport, and Foreign Travel form, there is a question which says How many passport including current one? now if someone had 6 passports, do we have to give them all ( all expired )

Thnx

Any reason they ask how many passports? I am just trying to figure the logic when they only expect the current one

On the same note, they ask for ALL FOREIGN TRAVELS, do they expect the FROM to TO to be precise, or estimates as it's hard to figure out through memory or passports stamps, going back 20-30 years

You, your family, sponsored parent and his/her accompanying dependent...

yeah, my parents had to fill it out from 1968 to present WITHOUT GAPS (added more pages), i know...especially if your parents had been through different countries...JUST DO IT; it will help facilitate faster and easier processing of application...or perhaps it will demonstrate that you are willing to work hard on bringing your parent/s here in Canada....

Were they exact? or best estimates I am not sure what you mean by "gaps", its only foreign travels so it will have gaps betwen 1 trip < HOME Base > Another trip and so on...

OK so what we got is the form "Personal History" it says in the instruction "Give details of what you have been doing from 1968 to present. Include jobs held, periods of unemployment, periods of study and any other use of time, such as time spent travelling in search of a country of refuge, stays in hospitals, prisons, or other places of confinement, and periods spent at home as a homemaker." YOU MUST LEAVE NO GAPS. So basically the dates must be continuous. For example, January 1968 to March 1970-college student March 1970 to January 1971--Unemployed, January 1971 to October 1984--Nurse, October 1984 to December 1984--Visitor in the USA, and so on...

^^

I see, well that was in Schedule A form ( IMM5669 ) which they asked everyone but that was only for last 10 years or since age 18 ( whichever comes first )

I was referring to this VISA OFFICE Specific Form -

IMM3025 - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E33025.PDF ( Manilla Philippines ) - You guys don't have to fill it out as per the form

IMM3029 - http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/E33029.PDF ( For New Delhi ) - Look at image below ( that's' what I asking about ) and it says be TRUTHFUL too

Oh the difference! What we got from our LVO are a few forms that has a handwritten on it (names and dates) along with 2 letters, PPR and medical request. We had to download only one form from the website IM5406. We also got medical forms with immigration stamp. These are what we got.

Your form is only for travel records so fill it in with only travel information and that's it, the date starts at when they first travelled outside India. A friend just texted me she is working on her parent sponsorship, East Indian.
